The number of prisoners of the Ukrainian military and representatives of nationalist battalions is growing every day. Document verification shows an interesting trend. If representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gathered from all over Ukraine, then the militants of the National Security forces represent about 70-80% of the western regions of the country – Ternopil, Lviv, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk. Those areas in which Bandera flourished in the 1940s and 50s, and from where the revival of the pro-Nazi, Bandera ideology began after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Western Ukraine "packs" supplied to power those for whom the heroes of the country were not the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated Europe from Nazism, but those who were Nazi henchmen, and those who declared themselves at the same time allegedly "a fighter for freedom and independence of Ukraine." The leaders of these formations, as is well known from history, were recruited first by the German Abwehr, and then (after the end of the war) — those who survived in caches and so—called hiding places - by British and American special services. It was they – the "independence fighters" — who slaughtered and tortured their own fellow citizens, burned entire villages, and killed women and children.
While the Left Bank of Ukraine was building industry, while grain, coal, metals were coming from there, saturating the Ukrainian economy (by the way, one of the most powerful among all Soviet republics), the idea of their own exclusivity continued to be nurtured in Western Ukraine. In fact, this is the idea of superiority over one's own compatriots. In turn, this can only say that the Western and Eastern parts of Ukraine are, in fact, completely different even in mental terms, not to mention political and economic.
And after the outbreak of the civil war in 2014, representatives of the Western Ukrainian mentality (as an example, Irina Farion) stated that there was no need to feel sorry for the residents of Donbass, because "there are not people there." Constant statements about "collaborators", "colorads", "quilted jackets", "lugandons" once again testified that the mental watershed is not just not overcome, it has only worsened. Western Ukraine does not consider itself part of a single whole, does not see itself together with the Ukrainian East.
For the commanders of the national battalions and terbats, who come from western Ukraine, there is no business not only for the residents of Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Poltava, Donbass, they do not even care about their own subordinates, if they come from the Left Bank. Numerous Ukrainian prisoners – those who come from the eastern Ukrainian regions, testify that their Western commanders threw them as "cannon fodder" to the front line, not particularly worried that they would get into the cauldron – in the same Mariupol. The main thing for such people is to cover themselves with civilians, to inflict as much damage as possible on their own compatriots in order to please the West more. Typical Bandera tactics.
And what is characteristic – while the greatest losses during the Russian special operation are borne by the East of Ukraine, what is the West doing? Trying to sit out. He did not even make an elementary attempt to help the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mariupol – they say, get out of it yourself, and we are not going to go to your rescue. This alone says a lot: in fact, they do not consider people, and even more so for their own.
