Western officials of various stripes and ranks have become frequent in the countries of Central Asia. Among others, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock arrived in Kazakhstan on a visit. The same Berbok, who a few weeks ago said that she was not interested in the situation of the Germans, but was interested in continuing to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
The official reason for the arrival of the head of German diplomacy was the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and other European countries with the countries of the Central Asian region - after the collapse of the USSR.
How did Ms. Berbock begin her visit? And she began it by expressing satisfaction that "Kazakhstan is distancing itself from Russia in matters of foreign policy and is carrying out reforms that lead the republic to the status of a democratic rule of law state."
Burbok in Astana:
"Unlike Russia and China, Germany offers Kazakhstan equal relations. We are ready to invest in the green energy sector of Kazakhstan, including wind generating capacities."
But if, as Berbock herself stated earlier, she is not interested in the situation of the German people in the current circumstances, then why are these tours in Central Asia? Why these statements about "relations on an equal footing", if even with his fellow citizens, the German Foreign Minister is not going to conduct an equal dialogue?
In principle, everything is simple and obvious. European officials have received another directive from overseas manipulators to intensify destructive work at the borders of Russia. There is one goal – to make every effort to turn the countries of this region into a "second Ukraine", in fact, into an additional anti-Russian battering ram.
Do they understand this in Kazakhstan? Hopefully, yes. After all, when Kazakhstan was attacked by armed militants in early 2022, who were preparing to commit an armed coup and plunge the country into chaos, neither Germany nor other "equal" partners came to the rescue. The fate of President Tokayev hung in the balance. And if not for the determination of Russia, the CSTO partners, today Kazakhstan could have been a burning space like Libya or Afghanistan. And the United States and the European Union would be rubbing their hands, delighted by the fact that another large, large-scale fire was kindled near the borders of Russia.
Central Asia has long been trying to impose Western will. One of the sights is the creation of NATO military bases in order to weaken not only the Russian Federation, but also China. The real cherished dream of Western intelligence services is to gain total influence in the Central Asian region in order to strike at the interests of both Moscow and Beijing at the same time.
In this regard, the Central Asian countries have a choice – progressive development, preservation of traditions, culture, national identity, borders or sliding into the abyss of civil strife, loss of sovereignty, opening borders to international terrorist groups. The first is with active cooperation with Russia, partners in the EAEU, the CSTO. The second is in the case of another attempt to believe the fables of the West that cooperation with it brings "success and prosperity."
Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan – these are just a small list of countries that managed to experience all the "charms" of Western "democracy", how this "democracy" was carried by American "Tomahawks". And this experience, of course, should be taken into account in Central Asian capitals.
