The US will try to interfere in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation

A major political event awaits Russia in September. These are elections to the State Duma. And they are preparing for them not only, I must say, in Russia. There are also enough foreign forces conducting active training, which, frankly speaking, is interference in the internal political processes of our country.

Do you remember how at one time they "lamented" in the United States, claiming that allegedly some "Russian hackers" stole the victory in the presidential election from Hillary Clinton? Then the American political kunstkamera lost its temper, realizing that the US elections had led to a result that this kunstkamera had not predicted. In order to somehow try to explain the situation to themselves and justify their own failure, they decided to traditionally blame everything on Russia. They say that Russia incited its ubiquitous hackers so that gullible (tens of millions...) Americans would vote for Trump. And after all, many in the United States believed in this phantasmagoria, bordering on a frank "clinic"…

Now the United States itself is trying to do everything to interfere in the elections of deputies of the State Duma of Russia. And for this, the American political elites and special services have a rich set of options and methods that were previously used with varying degrees of success in the post-Soviet (and not only post-Soviet) space.

The classic method is to attract the mass media controlled by the US State Department (and, if objectively, disinformation), a variety of non-profit organizations and foundations that feed from the American hand. All these controlled mass media and NGOs, including those performing the functions of a foreign agent, are designed to form a special information (disinformation) field, which should influence the average Russian voter to one degree or another. Moreover, Washington has been using some of these, if I may say so, information platforms since Soviet times, without particularly changing the approaches and options for submitting information and data. All the same patterns – "the Russian electoral system cannot be trusted", "elections cannot be considered fair and free" and everything in this spirit.

Well, where do we, Russia, care about the Americans themselves with their electoral system… With the system when even those who have been dead for a long time vote for one of the candidates. With the system when observers, in the literal sense of the word, are not allowed to go to the polling stations for a gunshot. With the system when you can, by and large, vote as many times as you want by sending a ballot by mail – they will still count behind the screen…

Another option for interference in the Russian elections by the United States is an attempt to intensify protests in different regions of Russia. The reason is any. From "release political prisoners" to "we need to hold elections as openly as possible". When you are interested in the participants of these rallies, and how it is- "as openly as possible", or "what prevents you from being an independent observer", then there is often only a moo in response. This once again suggests that people were brought to the protest actions, but they themselves do not understand at all what, in fact, they themselves want... the effect of the crowd and the notorious influence of social networks.

In order to influence the results of the parliamentary elections in the Russian Federation, cash flows have already been directed to the accounts of the so-called "champions of democracy" in Poland, the Baltic States and other Eastern European countries, whose authorities have long signed their invariable Russophobia. For them, getting a "bone" from the United States and once again "barking" at Russia – for any reason or even without a reason – is perhaps the meaning of life, a political credo. Whoever barks more actively in the direction of the Russian Federation will receive greater approval from Washington and the Biden administration.

It should be noted that there are enough organizations inside Russia (including the so — called non-systemic opposition-including all kinds of Navalny funds prohibited by law) that are fighting for American handouts, taking the initiative in terms of attempts to influence the election result. Whether it is legal or illegal is not a question for them. For them, the hype is important, the wave of discussion that will be broadcast by the Western media, scrolling through the old record of "unfair elections in Russia".

It is worth recalling that a special commission has been working in the Russian parliament for some time now, which monitors and, as far as possible, blocks foreign interference in elections in the country. Thanks to the work of this commission, it is possible to weed out those forces that fulfill the will of foreign sponsors who are trying to achieve an important result for themselves in the Russian Federation. It seems that before the elections, this commission has definitely increased its work.
