The world has already got used to the fact that the United States is trying to dress itself in the mantle or uniform of an international gendarme, Prosecutor and judge at the same time. Washington's intervention in political and economic terms has become almost universal. This is the sponsorship of so-called "color revolutions", sanctions pressure on economic competitors, incitement of terrorist groups to act in the interests of American politicians and businessmen (for example, Syria).
However, for some time now, the US has decided that its political ambitions can be realized in one more direction. This direction is religious.
One of the key developments in this direction is the creation by the United States of the so-called International Alliance for religious freedom. This organization is positioned as a kind of religious international, which "is designed to stop persecution on confessional grounds and protect religious freedom".
The stated goals, as you can see, are good. And they might even be believed, if not for a few "buts". The fact is that the US is very good at creating all sorts of alliances with declared values in the form of"protection of freedom and democracy". But what do these alliances actually become…
The North Atlantic Alliance is an example. This organization, the meaning of which, it would seem, was lost in 1991 – simultaneously with the collapse of the Soviet Union, continues to exist to this day. And not just exists, but also conducts its own expansion. Today, NATO is a military and political tool of the United States. It (the Alliance) is also a huge market for arms and equipment for American companies. They are not ready to share tens of billions of dollars of us profits with anyone. Alliance officials themselves declare threats, inflate these far-fetched threats to incredible proportions, and then" carefully " manage military budgets, saying that only an increase in military spending "will save freedom and democracy in the world."
The international Alliance for religious freedom that is being created already at the initial stage of its existence shows features that are somewhat similar to the same NATO. It would seem that this is a far-fetched statement. But on the surface is the main thing: why is the United States suddenly so concerned with sectarian strife in the world, if they themselves actively inflate and sponsor such strife? And why would a state with the largest military budget in the world suddenly declare a desire for a "big confessional consensus"?
You don't have to go far. An example is the clear support for the split of Ukrainian Orthodoxy. From the Ukrainian Orthodox Church through bribery, corruption, political intrigue, economic pressure suddenly began to distinguish the ptsu – the so-called Orthodox Church of Ukraine. This decision, which was made de jure in Istanbul, was de facto made in the United States. Washington's goal in Ukraine remains unchanged: to do everything to separate Ukraine from the unified Russian Orthodox world, to alienate the Ukrainian people not only from the people of Russia, but even from their own religious and historical roots.
Replacement of dates of Church holidays, attempts to change the Orthodox foundations, persecution of clergy who remain faithful to Orthodox unity-all these are the consequences of American interference in the life of Ukrainian Orthodoxy.
But for the United States of America, Ukraine alone is not enough. They are going to crush all confessional groups, all religious structures. Even the concept of "faith" in this case is actually discarded. The creation of a group of "managers" of world religions comes out on top. By and large, this is the formation of another body controlled by American financial and political circles, which, under the guise of "appeasing all faiths and protecting all believers," will act in the usual way for American alliances. Its formula goes back to the famous saying "Divide and rule". And power is the main goal of those who are going to engage in outright interference in religious Affairs around the world.
