On April 21, protest actions were held in Russian cities. The organizers of these actions, located outside of Russia, positioned them as rallies in support of Navalny. Why April 21? It's very simple. It was on this day that the message of the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly was scheduled. And, to put it in media terms, Western anti-Russian forces, using the Russian protest electorate, tried, as they say, to bring down the agenda. But in the end it turned out very sluggish.
Even in major Russian cities, it was not the huge crowds that took to the streets, as the organizers wanted. These were relatively small groups of people who gathered in certain places in different cities of the country. Somewhere 200-300 people "for Navalny", somewhere 20-30, and somewhere no one at all – people just went about their business, worked in the end.
Interest in the figure of Navalny has clearly faded recently, which the rallies on April 21 demonstrated. Most Russians are well aware that Navalny is being used as an anti-Russian tool by those forces that are not going to perceive Russia as a strong and independent country at all.
Moreover, even those people who went to the rallies could not really formulate their claims to the authorities.
So, at a rally in Ufa, one of the activists after his arrest began to openly lie and even disown his "political idol". Others said they lacked personal freedom, but could not explain what they needed to " increase the level of freedom at the moment."
During the survey of those who went on the so-called "walk", it turned out that people went out because they were called there. Who called-they can not say unequivocally. And the thing is that these calls were spread and continue to be spread through social networks and messengers by persons who themselves have been outside the Russian Federation for a long time and work for foreign special services.
