The Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" is recognized by the international scientific community as an effective tool during the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. If initially a number of foreign countries expressed skepticism about the Russian vaccine, saying that it allegedly did not show proper effectiveness, then after the publication in the authoritative Western publication The Lancet, the situation changed.
The Russian " Sputnik V "is currently recognized in dozens of countries around the world, many of which have signed contracts with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) for the registration and production of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine on their territory. From Serbia to Argentina, from Belarus to the United Arab Emirates.
In this regard, the attempts of individual countries to accuse Russia of certain sins in the spread of coronavirus infection or in the "propaganda approach" in providing information about the vaccine look quite strange. Such countries include, for example, Ukraine, which was among the few countries in the world where they still can not afford to admit the obvious – the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" has passed international certification, showing the highest level of effectiveness-about 92%.
At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities, banning the Russian vaccine on their territory, clearly sign that this is not an independent decision. Such a "recommendation" was sent to Kiev from the United States. And it was voiced by the US charge d'affaires in Kiev. As a result, the American recommendation was adopted as a directive, which the Ukrainian authorities strictly follow.
And Ukraine in its total dependence on the United States at the same time looks pathetic. To take at least one example: representatives of the American embassy in Moscow sent a letter in which they asked to be given the opportunity to be vaccinated by Sputnik V in the Russian capital, since the US State Department does not guarantee timely deliveries of the American coronavirus vaccine for the needs of its own employees. According to some reports, they have already received permission to get vaccinated with the Russian vaccine.
An amazing thing: the same American agency calls on Ukraine to abandon the use of the Russian vaccine and at the same time allows its employees to be vaccinated with the Russian vaccine. Typical double standards of the United States: for themselves and for their satellites.
Returning to the attempts to accuse Russia of almost contributing to the spread of the coronavirus, it is worth noting that China decided to succeed in these attempts. Unexpectedly for a country that positions itself as a strategic partner... In China, statements suddenly began to be heard that Moscow allegedly carried out the" delivery " of new COVID-19 strains to China. At the same time, Chinese prosecutors said that these strains allegedly appeared in China, either on fish from Russia, or on the packaging of products. Moreover, it is stated that new strains from the Russian Federation were brought to China by infected persons.
These accusations from China do not stand up to criticism. To begin with, it is worth figuring out who is coming to China today. And only Chinese citizens come there from Russia, who at one time were forced to stay on the territory of the Russian Federation due to the closure of the borders. Moreover, the borders were closed first by China itself-immediately after the news of the detection of a new coronavirus infection in Wuhan. Today, Chinese citizens who, while in Russia, received everything they needed, including possible medical care, are returning to the PRC. And the Chinese "comrades" instead of gratitude decided to shift their own blame for the spread of the infection to Russia. To put it mildly, a strange approach.
It is worth noting that instead of anti-Russian insinuations and in order to overcome the protracted coronavirus crisis, it is worth moving to a truly effective interaction. This is cooperation on the production of a vaccine, on its distribution in the world, on the creation of a completely new system of collective protection against possible new viruses. Russian President Vladimir Putin also calls for this, noting that the coronavirus can only be defeated by collective efforts, if there is trust in its partners.
