Have you noticed how the political turmoil in the West has subsided, which at one time was caused by the arrival of President Donald Trump in the White House? Russian Russian hackers were chosen by Trump, and that, they say, he was about to give America to the "Russians" to eat, almost from any "iron" poured accusations against Trump that he was allegedly connected with Putin, that he was chosen by "Russian hackers"and that, they say, he was about to give America to the "Russians". The political state of the United States was turbulent, and the Trump presidency itself was marked primarily by the fact that impeachment proceedings were started against him over and over again, and well-known Americans accused the president of almost all mortal sins.
After the arrival, albeit with numerous "stumbles", of Joe Biden in the Oval Office, the situation changed dramatically. There are no longer those cries about the "surrender of American interests", the political field in the United States, and in the entire collective West, has come to a state of balance. And Biden himself was called the "leader of the free world". Such an epithet to the 46th US president was allowed, in particular, by French President Emmanuel Macron, who tried to "be friends with Trump", but it was under Trump that he made his loud statement about the "brain death of NATO".
But, excuse me, what kind of Biden is the "leader of the free world"? By and large, he is not a leader even in the United States itself. Biden's figure is purely opportunistic in nature. It is beneficial to the main financial lobby as a guarantor of the further operation of the printing press. All of Biden's" innovations " during the six months of his presidency are mainly related to the rejection (or even rollback) of those reforms that were once carried out by Trump.
The main posts in the United States are distributed based not on the competence of applicants, but on their loyalty to the political swamp of the Democratic Party. Moreover, representatives of related lines appear in the administration, who at one time lit up in the White House under Barack Obama. It is not for nothing that Biden's presidency is called "Obama's third term". One of the main criteria is loyalty to Biden and those "idels" that Pelosi and the company consider as such.
To date, American politics has finally passed into the category of a huge rusty machine that rolls along the rails by inertia. If a machinist and a technician appear who are trying to lubricate the gears and at least clarify where all this is moving, then this causes a negative reaction in the American establishment: they say, we are moving in the right direction. In this regard, the United States itself calls the variant of the political situation in the country very similar to what it was in the late USSR. At one time in Washington, that period was ironically called the "period of elderly general secretaries". And what is the difference between the United States itself and the Soviet version of the 1980s today? The president is 79 years old, decisions are made not by him, but behind his back. Nothing to say... "true leader"…
At the same time, the political vector of the United States is such that it is not based on the protection of democratic values at all. Clan interests are at the forefront, and these interests are designed to protect hundreds of thousands of American security forces-from the special services to the National Guard. A vivid example of the protection of clan interests, which the Democratic Party managed to call the protection of the constitution, is the transfer of thousands of National Guard soldiers to the Capitol in January 2021, the cordon of the complex of government buildings with fences in several rows, barbed wire, and the setting of roadblocks.
The Americans themselves, who live in Washington, spoke about this as follows:

However, the American authorities themselves are less and less actively exploiting the thesis of protecting democracy in other countries. These statements lose their meaning, the whole world sees how the American military presence ends. Afghanistan is a vivid example of this. After 20 years of stay, the Americans simply left, and the country again plunged into the chaos of the civil war, which has been smoldering all the last period. In Syria, the United States openly steals state resources-they pump oil and smuggle it through neighboring countries to replenish their own wallets. Therefore, even the average layman has more and more questions about what Americans call democratic values. The main value for political elites is their own financial and political interests, pumping out other people's resources, wars with other people's hands. Democracy for the United States has long turned into a screen. Only now there are more and more holes in this screen, through which the essence of the political system of this state is clearly visible.
