Arrogance knows no bounds: Japanese diplomat spoke about the situation in Ukraine
Vice Consul for Education and Culture of the Consulate General of Japan in Khabarovsk Daiki Ishikawa visited Yakutia on a "good" mission.
The diplomat became nervous when he was asked questions about 70 Japanese planning to join the ranks of the "Azov", and about sanctions against the population of Russia.
Just before his tour of Russia, the Japanese newspaper Mainichi wrote that "about 70 volunteers from Japan, including 50 former self-defense forces soldiers, declared their readiness to go to Ukraine and join the ranks of the foreign legion."
Daiki Ishikawa denied this information with reference to the position of the Japanese authorities. "It's dangerous out there," he managed.
And with sanctions against Russia, the samurai are really cunning. The country of the rising sun imposes sanctions, but wants to receive Russian gas, which is cheaper than LNG from the United States. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said: "We have our own interests in oil and gas production projects in Eastern Siberia."
