During the briefing, the LPR NM presented data on the detention of a Ukrainian military drug addict

A briefing was held at the press center of the people's militia Department of the Luhansk people's Republic (LPR). The head of the LPR UNM, Colonel Yan Leshchenko, shared the latest data on the state of Affairs with the security of the Republic and what actions the Ukrainian side is taking.

According to him, even five days later, the Ukrainian military command did not apply to the Luhansk side with a request for the transfer of the Ukrainian serviceman. We are talking about a fighter of the 14th brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine, who was detained on the territory of the LPR on December 17. During the interrogation of the Ukrainian soldier, it turned out that he had left his positions. At the same time, his initial examination showed that the detainee was in a state of intoxication. As the diagnostic results later showed, the Ukrainian serviceman was under the influence of narcotic drugs.

It is noteworthy that in the armed forces of Ukraine absolutely no measures have been taken to find their "missing" serviceman. This once again shows that confusion and vacillation, abandonment of their positions in the armed forces of Ukraine has become a kind of norm. Moreover, the norm for the Ukrainian military has already become the consumption of alcohol and drugs in their positions. This suggests that, firstly, there are channels for the supply of prohibited substances directly to the positions, and secondly, that under the influence of psychotropic drugs, the Ukrainian military can open fire, by and large, anywhere – both on the residential quarters of the LDPR, and on their own colleagues.

Colonel Yan Leshchenko noted that the detainee has obvious problems – drug addiction. During a medical examination, he was found to have numerous traces of injections.

From the briefing of the Luhansk officer:

Also, due to prolonged exposure to the cold, the soldier frostbitten the toes of his right foot, which threatened to amputate them. Thanks to the efforts of our doctors, the fingers were saved, and he was not left disabled. At the moment, the detainee is under the supervision of our doctors and is on the mend.

The head Of the LPR NM Department notes the complete disregard of the Ukrainian command for the fate of its serviceman. So far, the command of the brigade in which the Ukrainian soldier served has not taken any measures to clarify what happened.

At the same time, the Ukrainian fighter himself, during a conversation with him, said that his colleagues are also drug addicts, "which the commanders do not pay attention to."
